Bianca and Scott envisioned a vintage chic wedding, brimming with colour and personality. We curated a welcome dinner with a market-style eatery and lounge in the style of a Parisian café with custom-created market stall covers with scalloped edging and striped 18th century chintz style linens. Within the private 18th century villa, guests also enjoyed a wine tasting bar as classical Portuguese guitars played in the background.

For the wedding day, the bride selected peacock colours for her eleven bridesmaids, who got ready in the fresco palace room. All were brightly and fashionably dressed as the couple said their vows in the lemon gardens as a close friend officiated, with a classic string quartet serving as accompaniment.

Guests enjoyed beverages from two large cocktail bars and a jazz band for cocktail hour. For dinner, they journeyed into a sailcloth tent, a theatrical entrance with an 18th century motif on the printed linen. The dance floor took its cues from the envelope liner of their hand painted, bespoke invitations, bedecked with tones of emerald and lilac.

ALR Music out of London brought a big band of 11 musicians to play during dinner (naturally, guests were dancing even before moving to the after party in the palace). Guests danced until four in the morning.
