Jennifer and Eric

The wedding invitations for Jennifer and Eric’s wedding gave an impression of what was to come– a timeless yet modern castle wedding in Northern Portugal. The bride’s mother added a personal touch with a hand-painted castle on the envelope liner to hail the romantic summer soiree set at the historical Palace of Guimarães, a mediaeval estate.

While the symbolic wedding ceremony was set on the castle grounds, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn until sunset, when they would be welcomed to an alfresco dining experience in the palace’s courtyard. We dressed the tables in fine, dusty-blue linen with vintage brass candleholders, while white peonies and green hydrangeas, and gold-edged tableware.

The evening came together with an afterparty in the ancient banquet hall, where two live DJs provided the entertainment. The party lasted into the early hours of the morning!
