What event planning services do you offer?

We provide full-service event planning and design for weddings, including project management, production coordination, and design. We also organise other special events, such as Birthday parties and Christenings. We have an extensive portfolio; however, we have many events we cannot show due to our clients’ privacy and confidentiality.

We would like to have event styling without planning and production. Do you offer this as a separate service?

We do offer event design and styling as its own offering, and have been commissioned by our clients to focus on decor only for private parties, and even for interior design purposes. The service also includes a lighting consultation to ensure the decor is emphasised by optimal lighting.

Who on your team will be onsite during the wedding?

Our core team will be onsite for your event, including Jasmine, founder and creative director; Marta, events director; Paulo, logistics and production manager; Luis, production coordinator; and Teresa, our stylist and bridal assistant. As part of the event setup, we also bring additional staff who are highly trained and experienced in event production.

What makes your planning and design style unique?

We approach each wedding with an entirely clean design slate, but use our expertise in planning to execute everything to exacting standards. Our eclectic but elegant style, rooted in European heritage and with a touch of English whimsical design, is evident through all our events. We are absolutely dedicated in offering the best service and experience to our couples, so we only work on a select few events each year, and never more than one per weekend.

Do you arrange meetings with the vendors involved in our wedding?

Yes, we carefully select the vendors we feel are the right fit. We are available for both in-person and virtual consultations with both you and your vendors.

Do you only plan weddings in Portugal?

No, we plan weddings across Europe. While we are based in Portugal and have an extensive network locally, we also frequently hold destination weddings in Spain, Italy, Marrakesh, and other European destinations. Jasmine is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian, while Marta, our events director, is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, so you can be fully confident we have the language skills, experience, and vendor relationships to host weddings across Europe.

Do you offer an on the day coordination?

Sorry, we do not. We only offer full-service planning and design or design-only services.

How much time in advance should we book The Wedding Co.?

Generally speaking, we advise planning ahead at least 1 year in advance of your wedding, however, we encourage you to inquire for the latest information on our availability.

Do you offer any giveaways or Instagram or influencer collaborations?

Unfortunately, we do not. Any inquiries of this type will go unread.

How do your fees work?

Our fee structure is based on the percentage of the overall event budget. The more complex your event, the higher the event planning and design fee will be. We are happy to share additional information with you during our initial consultation.

What kind of wedding budgets do you work with?

Generally speaking, our clients’ all-in event budgets begin at €2000 per person for single-day events. For a 100-person event, this would equate to around €200,000 for your full event, including decor, production, design, and other key event aspects. This amount does not include a buyout, a welcome dinner and the farewell brunch the following day and it is a starting price point.
