Wedding event planner based in Lisbon, Portugal planning festivities across Europe
When Jasmine Lazzari founded The Wedding Co. in 2007, she was the first independent destination wedding planner in Lisbon. Over fifteen years later, she is known today as an originator in the Portugal wedding market and across mainland Europe. With a background in luxury PR for distinguished clients such as Cartier and Hermès before founding her company, Jasmine brings an elevated approach to each event and a singular approach to hospitality.
Born in Italy, raised in London, and residing in Portugal, Jasmine’s background plays an important role in her taste, style, and approach to event planning and design. The daughter of an Italian father and Spanish mother, she has always had an appreciation for the distinct cultures, languages, and heritage of Europe. As a child, she studied classical piano and violin, aspiring to become an orchestral conductor or theatre actor. With a simultaneous passion for the arts, she studied English literature at university.
Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Italian, Jasmine is well-travelled and versed in helping globally-based clients navigate planning destination events abroad. With a European approach and an eye to American nuances, Jasmine confidently plans weddings and events inspired by vibrant local customs but rooted in each clients’ distinct style and story.

In addition to planning weddings and events, Jasmine also offers luxury hotel consulting, mentors wedding professionals, and speaks at wedding industry events such as Engage Summits, where she was the only Portuguese language speaker in attendance.
She has worked with some of the best names in the wedding industry, and regularly plans events at luxury hotels, including the Ritz Carlton, The Four Seasons, and The Belmond Group. Her work has been featured in top media including Vogue, GQ, Brides, and Style Me Pretty, and recognized by Harper’s Bazaar as “The Expert Planner” in Portugal.
In 2024, she plans to launch an interiors line, as well as a porcelain line with heritage ceramics brand Vista Alegre inspired by her rich cultural upbringing.
Marta Pinto

Marta is known for her remarkable efficiency, energy and strong work ethic, supporting clients and vendors alike. Her skill set is vast, from finding new venues for clients, to joining couples on their food tasting (she is an expert in wine pairings and desserts). Marta is proactive in surpassing client expectations.
Her degree in architecture and love of beautiful objects equips her when designing table and room layouts, enabling her to take care of last minute adjustments. Marta ensures that the events run like clockwork and that all the moving parts come together seamlessly.
Marta was educated at a prestigious British-international school and spent most summers in the South of Spain, which fostered her interest in working for international clients. Marta is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and has served as Event Director at The Wedding Co. since 2013.
